The Buddy Violin Programme is mainly to encourage students to pick up the violin with a buddy. This is something that Teacher XJ highly encourages as not only duet classes are more fun, students get to learn duet pieces and pointers to look out for when doing a duet.
Learning in this buddy programme will enable the student to be able to better understand the cooperation needed. Students tend to be more sensitive toward rhythm and pitch through our guidance and training as there is a need to listen out for the buddy playing together with them.
In this small group setting, students will still get sufficient attention from Teacher Xin Jie, although not necessary as much as learning in a private setting. But students will be able to acquire new skills required in duets that may not be achievable in private classes.
This promotes a form of bonding, so why not kill 2 birds with one stone? Have fun together with a friend (and possibly make a new friend)! Learn to play simple duets together with your child. Through simple tunes like "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", "Lightly Row", we will pace our learning out to ensure that both the parent and child are in a comfortable learning environment.
Have fun together and learn at a lowered rate! Students who enrol together with their sibling or friend will get to enjoy classes at a lowered rate of $220/month!
