At Bowed Strings, we bring the value of elite-level training to every student without the intimidating price tag. Founded on a belief that quality music education should be both accessible and inspiring, we’re passionate about sharing the skills and techniques we’ve mastered.

 

Our hands-on teaching approach focuses on building a solid foundation in technique, musicality, and confidence through weekly private and group classes. We proudly welcome children and adults from all backgrounds, helping every student reach their full potential. We offer a range of violin and cello lessons tailored to different goals and skill levels as follows:

• 🎻 Private Lessons: Tailored 1-to-1 instruction focusing on technique, repertoire, musicality, and progress at your own pace.

• 👥 Group Lessons: Learn and grow with peers in small group settings that encourage collaboration, ensemble skills, and peer learning in a supportive environment.

• 🛠️ Adhoc and Technical Support Classes: Focused guidance for current students or leisure learners. Ideal for these learners or students who already have a teacher but want focused sessions on technique or specific areas of improvement.

🎓 In 2023-2024, 100% of our students achieved High Merit to Distinction in their ABRSM Grading Examinations, a proof of our commitment to quality and care.
