A Letter From Us to You

Our own musical journey began with our parents, who brought us up with music and accompanied us every step of the way. Their patience, encouragement and belief shaped both the musicians and the people we are today.

Creating a physical home for Bowed Strings Music Studio was a dream I carried quietly for years. It may look like a small, cosy studio, but to me, it means the world. From teaching in our home studio to opening a dedicated space of our own, I feel incredibly humbled, blessed and grateful.

I still remember teaching my very first students, nervous, uncertain and simply trying my best. It was my mother who believed in me before I fully believed in myself. Her love and support continue to remind me why I keep going. Even today, she still likes every single post and reel we share.

Teaching has not always been filled with highs. There have been moments of self-doubt and questioning, but every smile, thoughtful message and meaningful connection reminds me why this work matters.

Every student and parent who has walked through our doors has left a mark on me. The kindness, discipline, resilience, empathy and love you instil in your children touch my heart. I am constantly reminded of how selfless parenting can be, and I feel deeply honoured to play even a small part in your child’s journey.

To our students of every age: thank you for the energy, curiosity, kindness and consideration you bring into every lesson. Teaching you is something I genuinely cherish.

Today, we hope to reach more hearts and build more meaningful connections through music. As we welcome new teachers into our team, we look forward to continuing this journey together while preserving the warmth and care at the heart of Bowed Strings.
